A concert will include classical style Tabla, fusion style pieces, and popular Indian songs. Guitar performed by Misha Fatkiev. Growing up in Central Asia until he was ten, Misha has always been surrounded by contrasting traditions and cultural settings and has been invited to tour with a high caliber percussion group from Ahmedabad, India called “Tabla Ecstasy.” Misha has peformed at Guru Purnima in honor of Pandit Divyang Vakil and has studied with him both abroad and in New Jersey.
